The American Red
Cross has been the leader in aquatic education
since 1914. To continue this tradition of
excellence in swimming education, the American Red
Cross brings you an all new, up-to-date teaching
and learning system. These swimming and
water safety materials reflect the latest research
in hydrodynamics, stroke mechanics, and motor
learning.
The Red Cross aquatics program offers an extensive
selection of courses for all ages, skill levels,
physical abilities, and job related training
needs. A classroom of water safety course
for children is also included. Other
swimming, water safety, and lifeguarding courses
make use of classroom instruction and pool
sessions.
Our coordinator
is a Volunnteer who also works as an administrator
in one of the county school districts. For
